April 11, 2017 CYLAND MediaArtLab presented a sound performance by Sergey Filatov at TAIGA Creative Space in St. Petersburg. In his work, the artist uses a number of DIY electro-acoustic musical instruments and sound devices.
Since 1999, Sergey Filatov has participated in numerous local and international exhibitions. The study of the philosophy of the East and travel are an integral part of his creativity, which is based on spontaneity and experiment. Works are in private and corporate collections in Russia, India, Canada, Switzerland and the USA.
After the performance, Sergey Filatov explained design and operation principles behind these devices, and answered questions.
