CYLAND Audio Archive curator Sergey Komarov and sound artist Sergey Kostyrko head up north to participate at the Inversia Festival in Murmansk. At the festival, the artists will present the new work by Kostyrko, soon to be released on CYLAND Audio Archive, and take part in the discussions about artistic practice.

Inversia is an international audiovisual festival over the Polar Circle that rethinks Northern territories geographical remoteness and cultural isolation. Artists, musicians and curators from Russia and Northern Europe meet in Murmansk for a few days to present their works inspired by the Russian industrial North and fragile arctic nature. Inversia team is combining thoughts and backgrounds on the North European plain and pursues to develop cultural relations that don’t depend on the map routes.
Program includes talks, screenings, VR-installations, workshops, concerts and parties that take place in Murmansk unusual or reinvented locations.
